In my personal time, I enjoy relaxing with my family and volunteer as an active Board Member on multiple PTA Boards and Partners in Education (PiE), the education foundation supporting Palo Alto Unified School District, where I currently serve as Board President. My rich life experiences, from growing up in Missouri to earning an environmental engineering degree from MIT, living abroad in Tokyo and Jakarta, and raising a family in the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley, have inspired me to help people find their community in my community.
